CALL TO ORDER. <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairperson <br />Mosher. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Roll Call <br /> <br />Chairperson Mosher read an opening statement describing the roll of the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission. Commission Member Koski read a statement describing what a public hearing is <br />and how the public can speak and participate. <br /> <br />II. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />III. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> <br /> <br />1.7261 Main Street – Request for Variance (Jeff Magdik, Home Detail, Inc.) <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser reviewed with the Commission several years of Mr. Magdik’s purchase <br />agreement requirements, breach of contract and his desire to move forward with revisions to his <br />purchase agreement with the City and expiration of the previous variance. City Attorney Glaser <br />stated that the parcel is very unique due to Anoka County’s taking of additional land for widening <br />CSAH14/Main Street in 2007. City Attorney Glaser stated but for the variance request, the parcel <br />would be undesirable and unbuildable. <br /> <br />Chairperson Mosher opened the public hearing at 6:33 p.m. <br />Page 1 of 7 <br /> <br />
