City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 22, 2016 <br />a. Credentialed by International Local Government Management Organization — (ICMA) <br />Administrator Ericson stated that he has completed years of professional development and <br />obtained professional designation and recognition from ICMA, he has forwarded the press <br />release to the paper and the accreditation is good for the City. <br />Administrator Ericson reported that he worked the City-wide Cleanup Day on Saturday, June 18, <br />2016, approximately 250 vehicles dropped off items and 50 mattresses/box springs were <br />accepted for recycling. Administrator Ericson stated that this was the first year of offering <br />mattress/box spring recycling and there was an excellent turnout for that. Mayor Wilharber <br />questioned the ability of the City to provide more opportunities for recycling of goods and <br />Administrator Ericson stated that he continues to work to secure such agreements. <br />Council Member King stated that the North Metro Telecommunications Committee meeting <br />centered around the 2017 proposed budget. <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that the Centennial Lakes Police Commission meeting would be held on <br />July 11, 2016, the Centennial Fire District Steering Committee would be held on July 7, 2016 <br />and the Rush Line Corridor meeting was scheduled for July 21, 2016. <br />Council Member Paar reported that the Centennial Fire Steering meeting would be held on July <br />7, 2016. <br />Administrator Ericson reported that both the Centennial Lakes Police Department and Centennial <br />Fire District budgets have been completed and would be forthcoming for Council consideration. <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that the City of Circle Pines is well into their search for a new City <br />Administrator. <br />Lead Project Coordinator, Mr. Greg Burmeister stated that he desired to present Council with <br />two proposals due to his upcoming vacation and contractor's scheduling. Mr. Burmeister stated <br />that he had just received these proposals and apologized for the short notice for Council <br />consideration. <br />He stated that one project, 7216 Mill Road (Olson Sewer & LeRoux Execavating) for sanitary <br />sewer work associated with a sewer service. Mr. Burmeister stated that he had not had an <br />opportunity to speak with the homeowner regarding whether he desired to have sod installed or <br />seed but desired for Council to consider the proposal in an amount not to exceed $9,000. Mr. <br />Burmeister stated that due to the construction of a new home on 7212 Mill Road it was assumed <br />that both properties had sewer stubs, however, 7212 Mill Road did not and through the <br />construction disconnected 7216 Mill Road and connected their sewer line to the stub that crossed <br />their property (7216's). <br />Lead Project Coordinator, Mr. Burmeister reviewed a proposal from L'Allier Concrete, Inc. for <br />sidewalk panel repairs which would be in addition to the curb and gutter work associated with <br />n <br />
