<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL & WORK SESSION MEETING MINUTES <br />July 13, 2016 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting of July 13, 2016 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> <br />Council Member Steve King <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> None. <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> City Administrator Mike Ericson <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> City Engineer Mark Statz <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Kyle Meyers, CenterPoint Energy Presentation of Partnership Grant – CFD <br /> <br />Fire Chief Harlan Lundstrom stated that the submittal of the grant was with the intention of <br />purchasing a software program and equipment that would provide firefighters with the capability <br />of responding to a call regarding their availability (in route, unable to attend, etc.) via a video <br />screen installed within the Fire Station allowing other responders to wait for appropriate <br />personnel, ensure proper staffing, etc. prior to leaving the station assisting in efficiency and <br />response time. Mr. Meyers stated that CenterPoint Energy is pleased to participate in the <br />community and presented Centennial Fire with a check in the amount of $975. Chief Lundstrom <br />thanked Mr. Meyers and CenterPoint Energy. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to Accept <br />CenterPoint Energy’s Grant Award of $975 to the Centennial Fire District for the <br />Purchase of Equipment Allowing Monitoring of Staff Response to Calls. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />
