<br />G. Safety Equipment <br /> <br />Each collection vehicle shall have a fire extinguisher (C02 type) and proper <br />backup alarms approved by the CITY. <br /> <br />21. PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />A. Responsibility <br /> <br />i) There shall be no limitation on the size of the hauler's collection <br />Crew, so long as they are sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the <br />Contract. <br /> <br />ii) Each collection crew shall adhere to, all applicable Ordinances of the <br />CITY and all of those rules, regulations, and conditions for refuse <br />collection as established by the CITY. <br /> <br />B. Driver <br /> <br />i) The driver must have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) <br />appropriate for the type of vehicle driven. <br /> <br />. . <br />ii) The driver must adhere to all traffic laws. <br /> <br />C. Collector <br /> <br />i) The driver and collector (s) shall at all times have a courteous <br />attitude toward the general public. <br /> <br />ii) The driver and collector (s) shall be of sound character, competent, <br />and sober and free of controlled substances throughout the entire <br />work day. <br /> <br />iii) The driver and collector (s) shall have the ability to remember the <br />order of collection and location of all containers on the assigned routes. <br /> <br />iv) The driver and collector (s) shall make a concerted effort to have at <br />all times a presentable appearance. <br /> <br />v.) The collector (s) on each crew sha..11 be physically able to perform <br />their duties and at least eighteen (18) years old. <br /> <br />14 <br />
