Page 2 <br />Volume 1, issue 6 <br />Saturday, August 6 began with the 5K/8K <br />Thursday, August 4 was the Bald Eagle <br />Run/Walk & Kids Free 1/2 Mile Run. <br />Water Ski Club and they put on a GREAT <br />Weather was perfect and 110 individuals <br />show with an audience of approximately <br />registered for the 5K/8K Run/Walk and <br />200. <br />50 Kids. <br /> <br />WaHoo Adventures coordinated the <br />5K/8K Run/Walks. Race results are on <br />line at fetedeslacs.org. Lake Area Dance <br />coordinated the Kids Free 1/2 Mile Run. <br />Thank you WaHoo Adventures & Lake <br />Area Dance! <br />Six (6) teams participated in the softball <br />tournament. <br />The parade started at 11:00 a.m. down <br />Main Street with the CLPD & Color Guard <br />Friday, August 5 was the All-Star Kickball <br />in the lead. There were a total of 55 <br />Game (Lions & Local Businesses vs. <br />units. <br />CLPD/CFDÐBusiness Owners won 3-2) <br />and fireworks which were fantastic. <br />The City increased the fireworks budget <br />and the crowd loved it. We hope that all <br />enjoyed them. <br />There was music in the parking lot across <br />the street from City Hall and several busi- <br />nesses held drawings and gave away <br />items to those that were present. <br /> <br />
