Transmitted herewith is a <br />copy of the Bid Tabulation for your information and file. Copies will also be distributed to each <br />Bidder if and when the Project is awarded. Bids were received from 7 contractors. The following <br />summarizes the results of the Bids. <br />Contractor Total Base Bid <br />Low Valley Paving, Inc. $194,463.30 <br />#2 <br />North Valley, Inc. <br />$197,244.94 <br />#3 <br />ASTECH Corporation <br />$205,442.50 <br />#4 <br />Omann Contracting Companies Inc. <br />$224,414.00 <br />#5 <br />Knife River Corporation - North Central <br />$224,710.00 <br />#6 <br />Park Construction Company <br />$239,166.50 <br />#7 <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br />$269,256.90 <br />The low Bidder on the Project was Valley Paving, Inc. with a Total Base Bid Amount of $194,463.30. <br />This compares to the Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Costs of $207,695.00 from the <br />Feasibility Report. The bid, together with engineering, assessment costs, publication costs, repair <br />work done by city staff and other related costs, we will be well within the annual budget for the <br />overlay program. These Bids have been reviewed and found to be in order. <br />If the Council wishes to move forward with an Assessment Hearing, one should be scheduled as <br />soon as possible. Then, after the Assessment Hearing, if the City Council wishes to award the <br />Project to the low Bidder, Valley Paving, Inc. should be awarded the Project on the Total Base Bid <br />Amount of $194,463.30. <br />Sincerely, <br />-,00%� <br />Mark R.
