INCREASE
Council has chosen to slightly increase the
fees that are charged to residents for sewer
and water. They are also considering increas-
ing storm sewer fees. The Council discussed
this issue quite a bit during the approval of
the 2017 levy discussions in December and
many budgetary items were taken into con-
sideration such as infrastructure, repair/
replacement, depreciation and fees charged
to the City for delivery of services. Council
does not like increasing fees unless it is abso-
lutely necessary.
