I hope that last night's Council meeting achieved what you wanted it to. I felt that
from the questions and discussions, the City Council members lacked the level of
clarity that you and staff had at our meeting last week. I would appreciate it if you
could pass on my thanks to Mark Statz for clarifying some of the questions and
providing some background. If there is anything else that I or the Metropolitan
Council can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to call me.
From my notes the following is the list of items that were requested by the
Council last night:
• Impact on city municipal wastewater cost from switching flow period for
cost allocation between 2016 and 2017.
• Does MCES have reserves in its budget? If so, how much, how is the
reserve created, how large of a reserve can be accumulated and how are
reserve funds used?
• Summary of communities having large 2017 cost increases.
Let me know if there is anything else that was requested. I'll start pulling this
information together and get to you next week.
Sincerely,
<image001.jpg> Kyle Colvin
Assistant Manager i Engineering Services
Kyle.colvinAm etc.state.m n.us
P. 651.602.1151 1 F. 651.602.1083
390 North Robert Street I St. Paul, MN 155101 1 metrocouncil.org
<image002.gif><image003.gif><image004.gif><image005.gfi <irnage006.gif>
This email has been scanned by the Symantec Email Security.cloud service.
For more information please visit hqp://www.sManteccloud.com
This email has been scanned by the Symantec Email Security.cloud service.
For more information please visit http://www.sManteccloud.com
28
