Mark has <br />experience with multiple simulation software packages including Synchro, Aimsun, and VISSIM. His analysis included needed <br />roadway geometry and lane lengths, crash history, and traffic <br />impact. <br />Old TH 14 Reconstruction, Waseca, Minnesota <br />Mark is currently conducting the Traffic Analysis for Old TH <br />14, the main east -west street through the city. He is <br />evaluating signal warrants and lighting warrants, conducting <br />crash analysis, and performing sensitivity analysis on all <br />possible build scenarios. <br />2nd Street Reconstruction, Rochester, Minnesota <br />Mark developed and ran simulations of the 2nd Street <br />corridor for its existing conditions as well as multiple different <br />scenarios for potential improvements. He researched the <br />crash history of the corridor and conducted crash analysis to <br />see if safety improvements were needed. <br />Mankato Avenue and Sarnia Street, Winona, <br />Minnesota <br />Mark conducted an intersection control evaluation through <br />the use of simulation and crash analysis. <br />Minnetonka Country Club Redevelopment, <br />Shorewood, Minnesota <br />Mark researched the crash history of the corridor and <br />conducted crash analysis to see if safety improvements were <br />needed. Used Trip generation manuals to see what the <br />expected added traffic impact would be with the completed <br />redevelopment. <br />MnDOT HOT Lanes*, Minneapolis, Minnesota <br />Mark preformed simulation modeling and calibration to aid in <br />the creation of a pricing algorithm for the MnDOT HOT lanes. <br />He conducted research on the safety and mobility of HOT <br />lanes design aspects.
