The wetland boundary was typically a transition from <br />tall goldenrod to reed canarygrass with a topographic break. The soils changed ftom dry fill soil to <br />saturated Webster soil in the wetland. Soilsaturation was present int the wetland, nd hydrology <br />disappeared in the upland. <br />Basin 5 <br />Basin 5 is a PEMC Type 3 shallow marsh comprised of 90% narrowle f cattail, 50reed canarygrass, 1% <br />lake sedge, and 1 % tussock sedge along with a few other species. The wetland oundary was typically a <br />transition from tall goldenrod to reed Cana grass with a topographic breek. The 4oils changed from dry <br />fill soil to saturated Webster soil in the wetland. Soil saturation was present in the etland, and hydrology <br />disappeared in the upland. <br />The National Wetland Inventory Map (NW ) (Figure 2) identifies Basins 3 and 4 al wetlands on the <br />subject site. <br />i <br />According to the DNR Protected Waters IV ap (PWI) (Figure 4) of Anoka County there are no public water <br />wetlands on the site. Figure 5 is the Wetla id Delineation Map of the site, and it shows the area delineated <br />for the project <br />Basin #3 on this project was declared exept from WCA according to permit status report dated 10-16- <br />98 enclosed in Appendix E.
