NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the City Council of the City of Centerville, Minnesota (the <br />"City") will meet on <br />Wednesday, June 28, 2017 <br />at City Hall, 1880 Main Street, Centerville, Minnesota, at or after 6:30 p.m., to hold a public hearing for <br />the purpose of considering the reestablishment of a City economic development authority ("EDA"), <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.090 through 469.1081, as amended, and the adoption of an <br />amended and restated enabling resolution therefor (the "Enabling Resolution"). A copy of the draft <br />Enabling Resolution is on file and available for inspection in the office of the City Administrator. The <br />draft amended and restated Enabling Resolution authorizes the EDA to exercise all powers granted to <br />economic development authorities and housing and redevelopment authorities under state law, and <br />designates that the EDA will be governed by a five member Board of Commissioners, two of whom will <br />be members of the City Council of the City.
