We gathered information related to density of residential development, <br />places of opportunity, places that need improvement, <br />ds <br />that to them described the City of Centervi Ile. <br />Residential Development: <br />Responders preferred <br />that were 12 units an acrerather 4apartmentbuildings <br />were 25 units an acre and provided greater amenities than more basic apartment with <br />noamenities that weredeveloped <br />Place <br />o Opportunity would :! <br />• Better connections from the downtown to the lake <br />• Waterworks i residential <br />• Local restaurants / dockside seating <br />• Beach <br />• Older kids playground <br />Places needing Improvement: <br />• More business infill in the downtown <br />• Rough streets as well as well and septic issues <br />• Heritage Progress t ni —very rough <br />Key Strategies: <br />• Embrace historic past <br />• Stay c l with businesses— not "chains' <br />• Preservation o community <br />• Keep taxes reasonable <br />• Water quality for lakes <br />• Keep downtown local <br />• Big box grocery <br />• Local entrepreneur program & incentives <br />
