Overview of the Financial Statements <br />This discussion and analysis is intended to serve as an introduction to the City’s basic financial statements. The City’s basic financial <br />statements comprise three components: 1) government-wide financial statements, 2) fund financial statements, and 3) notes to the <br />financial statements. This analysis contains other supplemental information in addition to the basic financial statements themselves. <br /> <br />The financial statements also include notes that explain some of the information in the financial statements and provide more detailed <br />data. The statements are followed by a section of combining and individual fund financial statements and schedules that further <br />explains and supports the information in the financial statements. Figure 1 shows how the required parts of this annual report are <br />arranged and relate to one another.
