Most wetlands were drained <br /> and cropped when the site was actively-farmed. The proposed project does include wetland creation <br /> and wetland restoration as identified in the May,2017 Wetland Replacement Plan. <br /> 0 <br /> 'Tip ee Pireservation The site contains irelatively few tirees, mostly as shelter belts on-the <br /> perimeter of the property and around existing home sites. Very little of the-tree stands consist of <br /> quality trees. Efforts will be made-to preserve-trees adjacent tui wetland areas if appropriate and many <br /> of the perlimeter-trees will remain. <br /> V Stormwater/Water Quality®Lennar understands that the city is working In cooperation with <br /> the Rice Creek Watershed District(li on improvements to the Peltier Lake Outlet as identified in <br /> the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan for the Proposed Lake Outlet. The proposed Lennar <br /> Land Use Plan provides a generous land use framework of wetland corridors,open space and <br /> stormwater facilities to accomplish the intent of the plan. Lennar is also committed to following <br /> star water policies enacted by the City of Lino Lakes and the Minnesota Pollution Control Association <br /> (MPCA). <br /> Siumatary <br /> Lennar has a long history of building successful Communities in the Twin Cities under the names of Orrin <br /> Thompson Homes and Lundgren Bros.Construction. Lennar's proposed Land Use Plan substantially <br /> follows the guidelines established in the approved Planned Unit Development Stage Plan and <br /> Preliminary Plat for Watermark. Lennar understands that much effort remains to satisfy the conditions <br /> included in the approving resolutions but are committed to working with Lino Lakes staff to fulfil those <br /> conditions when possible.
