It <br />will include site and building information, workforce development information, <br />demographics, links to education facilities, and information on tourism, housing, <br />transportation, real estate, and the media. All cities and the county will have links. It is <br />the primary marketing project for the coming year. <br /> <br />. Establish prospect protocols. <br /> <br />The Anoka County Partners should be the clearing house for dealing with businesses <br />seeking to expand or relocate to Anoka County. A fair and accurate method of dealing <br />with prospects needs to be set up in order to ensure that all communities are informed <br />about all businesses interested in the county. Quarterly reports will then be distributed at <br />the quarterly economic development committee meetings. <br /> <br />. Develop site and building data base. <br /> <br />Any successful economic development endeavor is dependant on the ability to provide <br />the client accurate and up to date information about the existence of existing properties, <br />or the availability of land upon which to build. This is critical and must be done <br />immediately, including aerial photos, maps, and when available GIS information. <br /> <br />. Publish electronic bi-monthly updates. <br /> <br />One of the identified issues with the previous organization was the lack of <br />communication. Electronic newsletter will be sent bi-monthly beginning in June. Each <br />newsletter will feature articles about the organization, news from around the county, and <br />will feature a community page focusing on one community.
