PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> Wednesday, September 6, 2017—6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br /> Centerville held a scheduled meeting on September 6, 2017 at the City Hall location. <br /> Present: Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> Vice Chairperson Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley D V <br /> Committee Member Chris Bettinger } <br /> Committee Member Heidi Grahek n U <br /> Also Present: Council Member, Matt Montain <br /> U <br /> Absent: None. <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairperson Waeghe called the September 6, 2017 meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br /> Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Chairperson Waeghe offered an opportunity to Committee members to modify the <br /> agenda. Committee Member Seeley desired to discuss Japanese beetles. Chairperson <br /> Waeghe stated that the item would be added at the end of the Agenda. <br /> Motion by Chairperson Wae2he, seconded by Committee Member Grahek to <br /> Approve the Agenda as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> 1. Parks & Recreation Committee Minutes of August 2, 2017 <br /> Chairperson Waeghe stated that the meeting minutes were unavailable. <br /> III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> 1. Mr. Tom Lee <br /> Mr. Lee updated the Committee regarding Music in the Park and stated that he expended <br /> $2,530 this year and the performances averaged 50+ participants except for Music in the <br /> Park-ing Lot. He stated that Ms. Aly Hanzal had well over 200 in attendance. <br />
