Several <br />revisions have been required for Ordinance #4, Land Use, Planning and Zoning. <br />Check lists continue to be developed, including a Findings of Fact summary sheet. <br /> <br />GOAL #6 Traffic Safety Management <br />This is an on-going effort between the Cities of Lino Lakes, Hugo and Centerville, <br />Anoka and Washington Counties and state representatives. Towards this <br />end, the cities of Lino Lakes, Hugo and Centerville have agreed to form a <br />Tri-City Joint Powers to work on traffic issues of concern for each city, <br />regional economic development issues and environmental issues. <br /> <br />GOAL #7 <br />The <br /> <br />Financial Stewardship <br />City Administrator and City Council determined that in order to maintain <br />effective and appropriate Financial Stewardship, it was necessary to hire <br />a Finance Director. This was done in April 2002. While Staff was <br />completing many of thc3P fisted requirements by the statutory deadlines, <br />other tasks were being put off in order to accomplish this. Hiring a <br />Finance Director allowed for the completion of these tasks as well as <br />others that were equally as important and provided Council the needed <br />information to be able to faithfitlly execute and carry out their financial <br />responsibilities. <br /> <br />GOAL #8 Community Gardens <br />Blooming Boulevards and Community Gardens - <br />Establish a Task Force of gardeners and volunteers to determine <br />places for public gardens. <br /> <br />Provide necessary materials and resources. <br /> <br />Provided an area behind City Hall/Fire Hall for public garden. <br /> <br />GOAL #9 Fete des Lacs <br />* Council to provide up to $35,000 annually for this City celebration. The <br />committee was encouraged to broaden its activities and events to be inclusive of <br />all segments of the population. Due to budget constraints,. Council contributes <br />$10,000 annually to the Fete des Lacs community celebration. <br />
