<br />Major Accomplishments in the Last Year. <br />1. Established a working environment that encourages staff to work together in a <br />respectful and professional manner and fosters a spirit of cooperation and consensus. <br />2. Hiring a Finance Director. <br />3. Week in Review is compiled and published on a weekly basis in the Quad Press. <br />4. Sorted out the Charitable Gambling situation; revised Ordinance. <br />5. Updated Personnel Policy. <br />6. Worked with Council to bring new computers and updated software to City Hall <br />thereby allowing staff to be more effective in the performance of their jobs. <br />7. Updated By-Laws for Commission and Committees <br />8. Revisions to various Ordinances. <br />9. Worked with new service provider to update City's Web site. <br />10. Resolved Insurance issues and assisted Finance Director with putting Cafeteria Plan <br />together. <br />11. Worked with City Attorney, County Attorney, County Officials and finance <br />consultants to address TIF issues as raised by the Office of the State Auditor. <br />12. Worked with Staff and engineering consultants on NPDES Phase II implementation. <br />13. Police Commission Task For~e participant. <br />14. Worked with liquor establishrllent owners, police department and staff to set up <br />quarterly meetings and Best Management Practices program. <br />16. Worked on the LMe's Improving Local Economies legislative committee. <br />Presentation of issues to Legislature in January. <br />17. Clean-up of Moreland property initiated; coordinated efforts of Anoka Human <br />Services, Centennial Police and Fire Departments, City Attorney and staff to assist the <br />resident and her family. Continued contact with family. <br />18. Working with City Administrators from Lino Lakes and Hugo to continue efforts of <br />Tri-City group. <br />19. Working with Lino Lakes to reconstruct 21st Avenue. <br />20. Attended several meetings with Chamber and Sen. Kennedy re CSAH 14. <br />21. Worked with Finance Director, Public Works Director and City Clerk regarding City's <br />deficit accounts. Met with several developers regarding their accounts. <br /> <br />
