BUSINESS RECYCLING ASSISTANCE Whether you need help meeting new recycling requirements or want to improve your current recycling efforts, Anoka County has resources to help such as free on-site technical assistance through the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce's Waste Wise program, grant funding to start or expand recycling at your business and free recycling bin labels. Corner Express took advantage of the business recycling assistance and grant program to expand their recycling efforts available to staff and customers. Assistance was provided to obtain grant funding for bins at the store's entrances and behind the counter. You have the ability to recycle two(2) items for free on select Saturdays of every month with a valid coupon. Here is a listing of items accepted: Cell phones, computer towers, laptops and scrap metal, (if computers and laptops have a hard drive,then a $5 fee will be applied). Here is a listing of items accepted for a fee or coupon: Fluorescent bulbs and CFLs($.35-.60 each),electronics: DVD,VCR and radi- os, speakers, toasters, small appliance, video games, etc. ($5), scanners, fax machines, residential inkjet printer($10), residential laserjet printer ($35), electronics: TV and monitor, $15-50), appliances ($8-20), mattresses & boxsprings ($20), tires $5-7), carpet rolls: no rubber back(6'sections) ($4-30) hard drive shredding ($10).
