<br />Mtnlo~~~ <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Council Members <br /> <br />FROM: Teresa Bender, City ClerklCo-Interim City Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Performance Review - Receptionist/Secretary <br />DATE: December 20, 2004 <br /> <br />Due to the responsibilities Council granted to me, John's new hiring and the need to <br />complete same. I provided Ms. Stephan her review. I did not review her previous <br />documentation except for goals/objectives/accomplishments. Ms. Stephan has shared <br />some comments in certain areas with me regarding her previous review. I felt that due to <br />the uniqueness of the situation it would be better for me not to see her previous review <br />documentation. <br /> <br />I did request that Mr. Meyer review my completed review and he complied and <br />concurred with the comments to his knowledge encompassing the time that he has been <br />employed here. <br /> <br />I recommend that Ms. Stephan receive her recommended step increase although Council <br />has previously motioned that Ms. Stephan's pay be adjusted according to the pay equity <br />study previously submitted. Ms. Stephan's pay is Grade 2, Step 3 ($13.07/br) and with <br />Council approval Grade 2, Step 4 ($13.S8/hr) from December 13, 2004 to December 31, <br />2004. As of January, Ms. Stephan's pay as of the pay equity study will be Grade 3 Step <br />4. <br /> <br />Staff continues to work on job descriptions internally; however, the present job <br />description will be attached to Ms. Stephan's review and included in her employment <br />file. <br />
