This document provides a framework for the planning <br />process used by -the County when identifying housing, homeless, community and economic <br />development needs and resources and is used extensively in the funding process for the <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and the HOME Investment Partnership <br />program. <br /> <br />Please accept this invitation to participate in the process of determining the 2005-2009 needs and <br />priorities related to housing and non-housing issues in Anoka County. A short presentation has <br />been scheduled for Wednesday, December 1,2004 in room 715 at 1:00 p.m. in theAnoka County <br />Government Center. During the presentation we will begin the process of identifying the needs <br />and priorities in the county. Your input and insight into your communities and pr~ will be <br />very beneficial as we begin this process. Please review the ~hed 2000-2004 Needs and <br />Priorities Chart and determine whether any of the priority rankings should be modified. If you <br />feel there is a need to change a priority ranking, now is the time to share your comments. <br /> <br />Public input will be received from users of'the CDBG and HOME programs, elected officials. <br />and local advocacy groups before a public hearing on the Consolidated Planls held in early <br />2005.
