The committee members de- voted numerous hours. too many to count, over the last year preparing for the bI& event. Several more volunteers were recruited to help on parade day with posting signs around the commu- nity advertising Fete des Lacs. the pa- rade. the detour!.. bIoc:king off roads. cIirec:tIng trafIk:. assisting parade par- ticipants into proper Ilne-up and watching out for the safety of partici-. pants and spectacors. ThIll was most impressed by the Increased number of spectators over the years and Is already starting to plan the 2001 Parade!
