We have now <br />included youth size T-shirts along with <br />adult sizes. <br />Nominations for -Citizen and Busi- <br />nessperson of the Year- were opened at <br />the meeting. The following individuals <br />have been nominated for -Citizen of the <br />Year-: Aimee Fairbrother; Torn and <br />Aimee Fairbrother; and Ray and Karla <br />DeVine. "Business Person of the Year- <br />nominations are: Uoyd DriBing - Devel- <br />oper; Brian Bernier - Gator Signs; and <br />Paul Montain - Trio Inn. The committee <br />received no nominations for the <br />"Lifetime Achievement Award-. <br /> <br />I. I Plan...... and Zoning II <br />. The Planning and Zoning C0mmis- <br />sion is hard at work, rewriting the <br />city's ordinances. We are updating the <br />sign ordinance. zoning orCfmanceand <br />others. ' <br />Planning and Zoning is also happy <br />to welcome Barry Brainard to oUr <br />committee,' Barry has a lot of experi- <br />ence in planning. and zoning, and we ' <br />look forward to working with him. <br />Planning and Zoning is always <br />looking for the publics input on issues <br />that we make decisions on. Many children and adults enjoy <br />the ,outdoors and in order to promote <br />winter in CenterviIIe. as well as safety, <br />the 1990 City Council of Centerville <br />passed the following ordinance... <br />Highlights of the Ordinance #50 <br />include: <br />. All property owners shall pro- <br />vide for the removal of snow. <br />ice. dirt. debris. litter. branches <br />and other obstruction or accu- <br />mulation of materials from all <br />public sidewalks,!ldjacent. 'to <br />their property. witI11q,~" hours <br />after it has been dePosited. on. <br />. The City of ~IIe's Public <br />Works director, or hisdesijnee <br />may remove the accumulation' , <br />, after 24 hours of its deposit at <br />the cost of the property owner. <br />.
