While we may not like this weekly intrusion, we most certainly have never
considered complaining. We are members of the Centerville Community and
we want to support the community. We draw the line at a port-a-potty across
the street from our home and in the middle of town! This is absurd!
We have seen and smelled the disgusting port-a-potties at other parks in
town. The facilities at Laurie Lamotte Park are deplorable. We've never
allowed our children to even open the door, let alone step inside. I have
absolutely no faith in the city's ability to require AirFresh to maintain another
port-a-potty at a cost of an additional $500-$625. Can you imagine the smell
that will drift through our windows and into our home all summer long?
We not in a position to have the knowledge to offer a solution. However, we
sure that there are other locations to put a port-a-potty rather than the middle of
town. Perhaps somewhere nearby along the bike path? I would like to speak to
the City Council. Will this be on the agenda for the meeting on Wednesday
May 09 Does the Parks and Recreation Board accept public comment at
meetings?
Thank you,
Wendy and Mark Brilowski
wendyb 1@me.com
612-387-8881 (after 2:00pm)
3
30
