April 16,2018 <br /> Mr. Phil Beffluri,Administrator <br /> Rice Creek Watershed District <br /> 4325 Pheasant Ridge Dr.NE#611 <br /> Blaine,MN 554494539 <br /> RE: Centerville Local Water Plan Update <br /> Metropolitan Council Review File No. 21904-1 <br /> Dear Mr, Belfiori: <br /> The Metropolitan Council (Council)has completed its review of the <br /> The plan has been reviewed based on characteristics specific to City Of Centerville's Local Water Plan(Plan) update. <br /> Centerville, including: <br /> about 85 percent of the City is developed, <br /> Rice Creek Watershed District(RWCD requires permits for constrictionprojects and I water resource <br /> management issues within the City, and, al <br /> RCWD serves as the Local Government Unit for administration of the Wetlands Conservation Act. <br /> Council staff finds that the above plan fulfills the requirements for a local water management plan and provides a good <br /> foundation for the city to manage its water resources. The plan is consistent with Council Policies and the Council's Water <br /> Resources Policy Plan, One suggestion would be to add a map showing the wellhead protection area(s)within the City. <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the city's Plan.
