It is unlawful for parents/guardians to pennit curfew violations. <br /> <br />Anl_al Control: All dogs are required to be licensed with the city when you <br />become a resident of the community. This applies to all dogs that are at least six <br />(6) months of age. Proof of current vaccination is required at the time of licens- <br />ing. Animal must be under the control of the owner at all times. . This means on a <br />leash or on your property. Barking, nuisance dogs are strictly prohibited. <br /> <br />(-.....tenanee of Property: Vehicles that are not licensed for the current <br />1\ )w- or are inoperable must be maintained in a fully enclosed structure or removed <br />"'from the property. The storage of automotive parts in your yard (tires, axles, etc.) <br />is prohibited. The improper storage of garbage, debris and other nuisance items in <br />your yard is also prohibited. - Please take pride in your community and your <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />On-Street Paddng Prohibition: All on street parking is prohibited in <br />the city between the hours of 3:00 am to 7:00 pm..This regulation is enforced year <br />round. Residents who have a need to temporarily park a vehicle on the street <br />during the above hours may request a permit from City Hall. <br /> <br />Reereatlonal Vehicles: All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV's) are prohibited in the <br />seven county metro area unless they are on private property with the owners <br />permission. Snowmobiles are permitted to be operated within the community, but <br />are strictly regulated. Please pick up a current copy of the snowmobile ordinance <br />at City Hall. <br /> <br />weed Ordinance: Because the growth of noxious weed~ and other harmful <br />vegetation is subject to needless abuse, creating a detriment to public health, . <br />comfort, and safety of the residents of the City of Centerville, as well as creating a <br />general aesthetic depreciation, the growth of such vegetation is hereby declared to <br />be a public nuisance. <br /> <br />i(~~oIse Or4Jlnanee: LaWn mowers, chain saws, etc. Please be aware and <br />~-'tend courtesy to your neighbors and noise ordinance #49, adopted the 10th day <br />of January, 1990, which prohibits certain noises-after 10:00 pm and before 7:00 . <br />am. An adult must be an attendanee at <br />all tUnes. <br />· Any fIre larger than a recreational <br />. fIre requires a burning permit. <br />Permits are issUed to burn dry <br />'Clear wood. <br />· A permit may also be issued for <br />the restoration of prairie land. <br />Permits are issued for a specifIc <br />time period. <br />· Leaves and grass clippings cannot <br />be burned at any time. There is a <br />compost site available. <br />· Building materials cannot be <br />burned at any time. <br />· There must always be a respon- <br />sible adult present with the permit <br />when the burning is conducted. <br />. · Additional conditions may be <br />needed because of weather condi- <br />tions. <br />· There. is a 30 dollar fee for a <br />burning permit. <br />· Burning pennits may be obtained <br />from the Centennial Fire District at <br />784-7472. <br /> <br />'1 <br /> <br />
