The new building in the industrial park is donef f Northern Forest Products (NFP) opened its doors in February for business. NFP is a hardwood lumber distribution yard canying premium quality hardwoods. NFP specia1i7.es in canying a diverse range of thickness' and species: . red oak, Eastern cherry, mahogany, white hard maple, poplar, walnut, white ash, aspen, and basswood, to name a few. Distribution of hardwood lumber typk:a1J.y c:onsists of selling less than semi-load quantities of product to end users. The end users consist of furniture manufacturers, cabinet shops, millwork and store fixture compalliCs. I ;, NFP employs 10 people so far, 3 of whom are from the Centervi11e I Hugo area. We would like to welcome the NFP TEAM to Centervi11e and wish suex:ess in their business adventure. County Compost Sites Open For The Season Anoka County's two COmpost sites opened for the season on April 1, 1996. The compost facilities are operated free of charge as a service to county residents. At the sites, citizens may discard their leaves, grass clippings or garden wastes and ~ finished compost when it is available. The Anoka County Bunker Hills Regional Park compost site is located at 13285 Hanson Boulevard in Coon Rapids, one mile north of Highway 242. The Lino Lakes compost site is at the Anoka County Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park, immediately south of 35W off Anoka County Road 14 (Main Street). This year, hours
