STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> RESOLUTION #18-007 <br /> A RESOLUTION PROCLAMATION FOR FINANCE DIRECTOR MS. ELLEN <br /> PAULSETH FOR HER DEDICATED YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY OF <br /> CENTERVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Paulseth was hired by the City of Centerville in April of 2002 and served as <br /> the City's first Finance Director for slightly over two (2) years. She brought to the City 21 years <br /> of experience as she had been employed with the Lake of the Woods County; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Paulseth had held several positions since 2004, being employed at Washington <br /> County, City of Forest Lake and City of Maplewood all in finance; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Paulseth accepted an alternative position with another community for several <br /> years in the capacity of Finance Director; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Paulseth was contracted on a part-time basis to provide the City of Centerville <br /> with her services of Finance Director in October of 2013 to present; and <br /> WHEREAS, While being a Mom and holding the above stated positions, Ms. Paulseth obtained <br /> her Master's Degree in Public Administration from Metropolitan State University in 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Paulseth, while employed with the City of Centerville, has displayed a high <br /> degree of integrity over her storied career in the industry. Her experience working for cities and <br /> counties in the accounting industry has given her a skill set which will not likely be matched by <br /> any one person. With her diligent oversight, the City has gained and retained financial stability <br /> along with obtained a AA bond rating; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Paulseth has not only served the City through her employment, she is also a <br /> resident of the community and has consistently found ways to give back; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA AND KNOWN TO ALL: <br /> That the City of Centerville has been honored and enriched with your services over the years. <br /> We wish you and your family nothing but the best and hope you take time to enjoy those things <br /> you find special. We are all honored to have worked with you and value the lessons we have <br /> learned from you.
