<br />page four <br /> <br />On September 14, 1988, a petition was presented to the City ~ <br />Council with 272 signature~, ,supporting current Lino Lakes Police <br />services and requesting that the City Council reverse it's August <br />24, 1988 decision to initiate a Centerville Police Department. <br />The City Council voted to renew their contract with the Lino <br />Lakes Police Department for the 1989 year. <br /> <br />Thank you to all persons who responded to the initial poll and <br />who signed the petition presented to the City Council'. Your <br />input is always a valuable contribution to the City. <br /> <br />The City Council also voted to initiate a Centerville Police <br />Liaison Group. The appointed liaison members are: <br />Joe Pelton - 332-7522 <br />Dan Henderson - 429-4838 <br />Wayne Hanson - 426-1339 <br /> <br />ANORA COUNTY TRAVELER - Local travel service for Senior Citizens <br />is available Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to East Blaine, <br />Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington, and Lino Lakes locations. <br />Service is also available to Northtown Mallon the second <br />Wednesday of each month. A $2.00 donation is requested, but not <br />required.
