City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> June 27,2018 <br /> X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Council Member King stated that he attended the recent Cable Commission were discussions <br /> were had regarding the 2019 Draft Budget as discussed prior. <br /> Council Member Love stated that he was recently appointed to the League of MN Cities Board <br /> of Directors. <br /> Council Member Montain stated hoped that the audience had a safe 4th of July. <br /> Mayor Paar reviewed the listing of events for Fete des Lacs and stated that the City would be <br /> accepting Affidavits of Candidacy Tuesday, July 31, 2018 through Tuesday August 14, 2018, <br /> 5:00 p.m. He stated that the Mayor's seat and two (2) Council Member seats will be up for <br /> election. <br /> Mayor Paar desired to provide the audience with some interesting fact about the City of <br /> Centerville in closing. He stated that Centerville was one (1) of eight (8) original townships in <br /> Anoka, Centerville was platted in 1854, the Village was formed in 1910 and became a City in <br /> 1974, the City of Lino Lakes was part of the Centerville Township, Centerville is completely <br /> surrounded by the City of Lino Lakes today and is 2.41 square miles of which 2.13 square miles <br /> is land and .28 square miles is water. <br /> XIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by Council Montain, seconded by Council Member Koski to Adiourned their <br /> Regularly Scheduled Meeting of June 17, 2018 at 8:43 p.m. Allin favor.
