Administrator/Engineer's Report October 10, 2018 ADMINISTRATION 2019 Budget At the last meeting, the City Council Adopted the Preliminary Budget and Tax Levy for 2019. This amount will be publicized with the Truth in Taxation Notices. The Council may adopt the proposed levy as its final levy or may adopt a lower amount, but may not raise the proposed budget. Our next budget workshop is scheduled for October 24,just prior to the regular City Council meeting. We will be discussing the Enterprise Funds. The overall budget schedule is below: October 24 Work Session—Enterprise Fund Review November 14 Special Work Session—Final Budget Review November 28 Regular Meeting—Final Budget and Tax Levy Adoption Centennial Public Schools City staff has been in conversation with the School Districts business director and is working through final plat issues. We are encouraged by the re-engagement of district staff and are hopeful to have this worked though in the near future.
