CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> MAY 10, 2006 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on May 10, 2006, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mary Capra <br /> Council Member Lee <br /> Council Member Lakso <br /> Council Member Paar <br /> Council Member Terway <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br />None. <br /> <br />STAFF: <br />City Engineer, Mr. Statz <br /> City Attorney, Mr. Glaser <br /> City Administrator, Mr. Larson <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Capra called the May 10, 2006, City Council meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. Surface Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) <br /> <br />Mayor Capra opened the public hearing at 6:40 p.m. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated this is an annual requirement of the SWPPP <br />mandated by the EPA and the Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated there was a motion to update this plan at the last meeting and <br />there were guidelines in the plan. She then asked if the City is meeting the goals. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated the City is doing reasonably well but should work to <br />improve its documentation. He then said that a lot of the items are overlapped by Rice <br />Creek Watershed District and they are much more aggressive than the City. <br /> <br />There were no public comments. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Lee, to close the <br />public hearing. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
