City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> November 28,2018 <br /> One Year of the Initial Offense. All in favor with Council Member Montain abstaining. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> b. Liquor License (Renewal) <br /> i. On Sale <br /> ii. Sunday <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Koski to Approve <br /> as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 1. Administrator/Engineer Report <br /> Administrator Statz stated that his Administrator Report was in the packet but desired to provide <br /> information regarding Employee Long Term Disability insurance and requested Council to could <br /> make the decision as employees would either pay for the disability insurance from their monthly <br /> cafeteria allotment or their owns funds. Council has concerns regarding whether the City would <br /> need to fund the program in any way. Administrator Statz stated no. Council consensus was that <br /> the Administrator could make the decision if staff desired to participate. <br /> Council Member Koski thanked Administrator Statz for being an active member of the Quad <br /> Area Chamber of Commerce and thanked City Clerk for duties associated with elections. He <br /> stated that Council will have a new member in the upcoming year. <br /> Mayor Paar clarified that Council would have one (1) meeting in December and that would be <br /> taking place on December 12, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. Administrator Statz stated that there would be <br /> no Work Session that evening. Mayor Paar stated that the Planning & Zoning Commission will <br /> be meeting on December 4, 2018, the EDA would be meeting on December 5, with the Parks & <br /> Recreation Committee meeting on the 5 t also in Administrative Offices. Mayor Paar stated that <br /> City Hall will be closed on December 24 and 25 in observance of the Christmas Holiday and that <br /> the Regularly Scheduled Council meeting of December 26 was cancelled. <br /> Mayor Paar stated that the Centennial Fire Santa Parade would be Monday December 10, 2018 at <br /> 5:30. He also stated that Toys for Joy are accepting toys at City Hall through December 18, <br /> 2018. He stated that both of these events are on the City's Web Site and Facebook page. <br /> Mayor Paar stated that he would be attending the Rush Line Corridor meeting in Maplewood <br /> tomorrow. He reported that Michele Lakso, new Council Member, would be meeting with him <br /> to be brought up to speed on Council items. Mayor Paar reported that the Centerville Lions <br /> Annual Ice Fishing Contest was scheduled for February 16, 2019 and information could be found <br /> on the Lions Facebook page. Mayor Paar stated that former Vikings player Tommy Kramer <br /> would be a Kelly's Korner on Friday at 7:00 p.m. <br /> XIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br />
