CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, September 5, 2018 <br /> 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville's Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> held a scheduled meeting on September 5, 2018 at City Hall, 1800 Main Street. <br /> Present: Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Chris Bettinger Q <br /> Committee Member Heidi Erickkson-Grahek <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Also Present: Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> Linda Neudecker, Recorder <br /> Absent: Matt Montain, Council Member Liaison <br /> Paul Palzer, Public Works <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairperson Waeghe called the September 5, 2018 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br /> Committee to order at 6:34 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. Results of the roll call <br /> are shown above. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Added item 3, under New Business —2019 Fete des Lacs (logo & 5K/8K runs) <br /> Added item 4, under New Business —Request for Rocket Launch (October, 2018) <br /> Motion by Committee Member Wae2he, seconded by Committee Member <br /> Amundsen to approve the Agenda as Amended. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> III. APPEARANCES/APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> 1. Mr. Pat Branch appeared before the P & R Committee regarding some ideas for the <br /> 2019 events. There are four major suggestions/proposals presented for consideration. <br /> a. A Logo Contest which would be open to students in the school district. A theme <br /> for the 2019 Fete des Lacs would be needed before this contest would begin. <br /> 1 <br />
