City of Centerville <br /> Parks&Recreation Committee <br /> October 10,2018 <br /> 1. Skate Nights for January & February, 2019 & Hayride for February, 2019 <br /> The first Skate Night will be scheduled for Saturday, January 19th from 6:00 pm <br /> to 9:00 pm. <br /> The second Skate Night will be scheduled for Saturday, Februar� 9th from 6:00pm <br /> to 9:00 pm. The Hayride will also be scheduled for February 9' from 6:30 pm to <br /> 8:30 pm. Staff will obtain the contract from the Bunker Hills Stable. <br /> Volunteers are to meet by 5:00 pm on both dates to prepare refreshments & music <br /> set up. <br /> IV. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br /> Motion by Committee Member Erickksen-Grahek, seconded by Committee <br /> Member Peterson to approve the Minutes of the September 5, 2018 regular meeting <br /> as written. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> VII. UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 1. Council Update—Council Member Montain <br /> Mr. Montain was unavailable to the P & R Committee as his attendance was <br /> needed at the City Council meeting. <br /> 2. Movie in the Park—Committee Member Peterson <br /> This activity was held on Saturday, September 22nd in Laurie Lamotte Park at <br /> dusk. The movie (Peter Rabbit) rental was $435.00 with the projector rental <br /> (with 5000 lumens) at $175 and miscellaneous expenses at $34.00. The turnout <br /> was down a bit this year. There was discussion about doing additional advanced <br /> advertising. <br /> 3. P & R Vacancy <br /> The city is currently accepting applications for the position. <br /> VIII.
