CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, August 1, 2018 <br /> 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville's Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> held a scheduled meeting on August 1, 2018 at City Hall, 1800 Main Street. <br /> Present: Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br /> Committee Member Heidi Grahek <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Also Present: Matt Montain, Council Member Liaison <br /> Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> Absent: Paul Palzer, Public Works <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairperson Waeghe called the August 1, 2018 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br /> Committee to order at 6:33 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. Results of the roll call <br /> are shown above. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Added the following items under Unfinished Committee Business: <br /> 2. Skate Park Repairs <br /> 3. Status of Ultra Lites in parks <br /> 4. Pickleball court <br /> Added 43 Movie in the Park under New Committee Business. <br /> Motion by Committee Member Wae2he , seconded by Committee Member Seeley to <br /> approve the Agenda as Amended. All in favor. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> III. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> Mr. Pat Branch attended this meeting to give the committee members a report on the P & <br /> R activities held during the Fete des Lacs celebration, (5K/8K Runs and Paddle events) <br /> and some ideas for 2019. Mr. Branch stated that there was increased participation over <br /> previous years; however there are areas that need to be improved. He expressed thanks to <br /> 1 <br />
