COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Resolution # 19-A41 <br />A RESOLUTION TO NOT WAIVE <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE LIMITS FOR LMCIT INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, The City of Centerville contracts with the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust for <br />property, casualty, and liability insurance coverage; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes set the standard liability limits at $500,000 per claimant and $1,500,000 per <br />incident; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to minimize its exposure to loss; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville that: <br />1. The City Council elects to not waive liability limits for the 2019 insurance renewal. <br />2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to sign and return the waiver form <br />indicating this election along with the renewal information provided to the LMCIT <br />underwriters.. <br />Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 13th day of February, 2019. <br /> I <br />Mayor, Jeff Paar <br />City Clerk, Teresa Bender <br />
