In fact, <br /> these residents would like to see more police patrolling and more street lighting there. <br /> Only five percent think the amount of police patrolling is "not enough" in their neighborhood. <br /> Similarly, only seven percent rate the amount of traffic enforcement by the police in their <br /> neighborhood as "not enough." But, 38%think the problem of traffic speeding in their <br /> neighborhood is at least"somewhat serious." <br /> During the past two years, 18%report household members contacted the Centennial Lakes Police <br /> Department for a service. Among those making contact, 93%think the handling of the situation <br /> was either"excellent" or"good,"while 98%rate the response time as "appropriate." Twenty- <br /> nine percent also had contact during the past two years with the Police Department through <br /> community programs. <br /> Seven percent were victims of a crime in Centerville during the past two years. Among these <br /> victims, 88%reported the crime to the Police.
