Potential for Centerville Farmers Market,possibly at elementary school on <br /> Thursday evenings during August to September; <br /> e. City Wide Garage Sales (Spring & Fall ??); <br /> f. Provide food trucks during water ski shows <br /> 6. P & R Vacancy <br /> The city is continuing to accept applications for the position. <br /> 7. Resignation of Committee Member Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Amundsen tendered his resignation to the P & R Committee <br /> Members. He stated his service had begun 14 years ago and he has other <br /> opportunities to now pursue. He stated that he would like to see the park trees <br /> trimmed & suggested applying for a FEMA Grant for a new Tornado Shelter or <br /> modifying the existing warming house. <br /> 8. Centerville Community Volunteer Opportunities <br /> A list of proposed volunteer opportunities was distributed to the committee members <br /> and information was also included with the quarterly utility bill. It was suggested <br /> that committee members review it and bring their ideas to present at the March <br /> meeting. <br /> VIII. ACTION ITEMS REVIEW <br /> ITEMS COMPLETED OR DELETED as of January 2, 2019 will be removed: <br /> • 18-012, 18-015, 18-017 & 18-018, <br /> ITEMS TO BE CHANGED <br /> • 16-031: increase of vacancies from 1 to 2 <br /> • 18-013: follow up—March, 2019 <br /> • 18-016: change date from February to ongoing <br /> ITEMS TO BE ADDED for March 6,2019: <br /> • 18-019: review& critique Fete des Lacs Management plan <br /> • 18-020: request that staff leave a minimum of 3 to 4 copies of the agenda and other <br /> materials for upcoming meetings. <br /> • 18-021: send letters to Police and Fire Departments thanking them for their assistance <br /> and/or donations with the Skate Nights in January and February; staff <br /> • 18-022: kiosk signage <br /> X.
