CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville's Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> held a scheduled meeting on January 2, 2019 at City Hall, 1800 Main Street. <br /> Present: Committee Member Chair: Kevin Waeghe <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley '' <br /> Also Present: Mark Statz, City Administrator/Engineer <br /> Matt Montain, Council Member Liaison <br /> Linda Neudecker, Recorder <br /> Absent: Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br /> Committee Member Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Committee Member Chair, Kevin Waeghe called the January 2, 2019 Meeting of the <br /> Parks & Recreation Committee to order at 6:37p.m. in the Council Chambers. Results of <br /> the roll call are shown above. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Wae2he, seconded by Committee Member <br /> Amundsen to approve the Agenda with the following additions: add #2 under New <br /> Business — Centerville Community Volunteer Opportunities and add #2b under <br /> Announcements/Updates. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> III. APPEARANCES/APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS - NONE <br /> IV. UNFINISHED COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> 1. Parks & Trails Park Plan—Assistance Proposal <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee <br /> Member Wae2he to recommend to the City Council to approve of the $5,000 <br /> expenditure from the city budget for the Parks & Trails Park Plan assistance <br /> proposal. This motion supersedes the motion made on December 5, 2018, <br /> which the P & R Committee was not in favor of the $5,000 expenditure at <br /> that time. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />
