RESOLUTION #19-0 A RESOLUTION FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Centerville held a public hearing on April 2, 2019 and recommended to the City Council approval of Comprehensive Plan Amendment for parcels PID 24-31-22-23-0018 (2021 Commerce Drive), PID 24-31-22-23-0017 (2065 Commerce Drive), PID 24-31-22-23-0016 (7047 — 21st Avenue), PID 24-31-22-23-0020 (Remnant of 747 —21st Avenue south of Commerce Drive), PID 24-31-22-23-0019 (City owned pond parcel south of Commerce Drive and PID 24-31-22-32-0003 (triangular portion of parcel north of Clearwater Creek) to Industrial (I) from Commercial (C), and WHEREAS, the City of Centerville City Council met on April 10, 2019 to consider the above stated recommendation and approved same; and WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has forwarded their draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council for review. The Metropolitan Council is no longer accepting requests for changes to communities' 2030 Comprehensive Plans; and WHEREAS, the City of Centerville will forward this request to the Metropolitan Council upon acceptance of their 2040 Comprehensive Plan. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA, 1. Approves the above stated amendment of the comprehensive plan from Commercial (C) to Industrial (I) for the above stated parcels. (Attached hereto: Stantec Findings of Fact dated April 2, 2019, Planning & Zoning Commission Minutes (April 2, 2019), Legal Publication and City Council Minutes (April 10, 2019) 2. That the Zoning Administrator or designee will forward this resolution and it's attachments to the Metropolitan Council following approval of the City of Centerville's 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The Metropolitan Council will then take under consideration this resolution for amendment. Passed by the City Council of the City of Centerville this 5th day of April, 2019.
