City of Centerville <br />Special Meeting Planning and Zoning Commission <br />May 21, 2019 <br /> <br />2. Proposed Driveway Ordinance <br /> <br />Mr. Greg Witzell, 7289 Brian Drive, appeared before the Commission to discuss the potential for <br />increasing the current maximum of 24’ at curb. Mr. Phil Carlson stated that Administrator Statz <br />has been speaking with Staff exploring the possibility of recommending modifications to the <br />current ordinance allowing for larger driveways at the curb line. Mr. Witzell stated that even in <br />his neighborhood several neighbors have exceed the requirement with concrete driveways and he <br />would like to complete something similar but is willing to wait for the Commission’s discussion <br />and possible recommendation for modification. <br /> <br />VIII. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />IX. Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />Commissioner Fehrenbacher discussed the opportunity for volunteering for the 2019 Fete <br />des Lacs parade or other events encouraging members to become involved. <br /> <br />The Commission desired to reschedule their July 2 regularly scheduled meeting to July 9, <br />2019 due to the Independence Holiday. <br /> <br />X. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fehrenbacher, seconded by Commissioner Twohy, to <br />adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />
