He needs to
ensure that it is being properly installed, in the proper location and that at some point we will have to maintain and he
must make sure items installed are low maintenance.
Sincerely,
Teresa
1. Ms. Marie Vidger — Donation
Ms. Vidger appeared before the Committee to make a donation of $2,000 for improvements for Trailside Park &
in support of the Bald Eagle Water Ski Club.
Motion made by Committee Member Errickson-Grahek, seconded by Committee Member Bettineer to
recommend to the city council to accept the donation of $2,000 from Ms Marie Vidger to be used for the
purchase & installation of a park bench (with a dedication plaque) & trash receptacle with any remaining
monies to be used for purchase of flowers & woodchips to be placed near the rock wall in Trailside
Park. Installation of all to be completed no later than June 26, 2019. All in favor. Motion Carried.
The exact wording on the dedication plaque, to show appreciation to the BEWSC, will be determined at a later
date. The first show by the BEWSC will be held on June 27, 2019 with practices beginning in mid -May.
From: Marie Vidger [mailto:vidmar27@gmail.com]
Sent: Wednesday, May 22, 2019 2:51 PM
To: Teresa Bender
Subject: Re: FW: Bald eagle quote
Hi Teresa,
Can you get me a quote for the plaque and engraving cost per letter?
P & R committee members took notes of what I proposed and said they would bring it all to City Council
seeking approval. I did not have a drawing of the landscaping, I just mentioned planting a few flowers and
potentially wood chips. I mainly want to clean it up and freshen it with some flowers.
Marie
On Wed, May 22, 2019 at 8:36 AM Teresa Bender <TBender@centervillemn.com> wrote:
