8/14/19 <br />Public Works/Engineering <br />VIII.1 <br />Downtown Street and Utility Improvements - Feasibility Report <br />Attached you will find a Feasibility Report, financing plan and resolution calling for a public hearing on the <br />2020 Downtown Street and Utility Improvements. This project is the final project to be completed from the <br />city's 2003 Pavement Management Plan. It would install water main to the only remaining neighborhood <br />without access to city water and reconstruct the streets in the downtown that have not been improved since the <br />sewer was installed in the early 1970's. <br />After reviewing the Feasibility Report and financing plan, the council should decide if they are ready to move <br />forward with the first of the two required hearings under MN State Statute Chapter 429, for special assessment <br />projects. <br />$2.4 M ($1.6 M Street Fund, Assessments; $0.5 M Water Fund; $0.3 M Stormwater Fund) <br />Motion to adopt Resolution 19-0XX Accepting the Feasibility Report and Calling for a Public Hearing. <br />Feas.
