I ' a <br />Resolution f Q <br />M <br />1'WDIR111ULWIFA <br />KOLOR <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, NUNNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City Council lauds the Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority for establishing <br />and maintain the Chauncey Barrett Senior Housing Project in the City of Centerville; and <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority in the City of Centerville is actively marketing business <br />development opportunities throughout the community; and <br />WHEREAS, this takes the form of encouragement of new businesses, relocation of existing businesses to <br />Centerville, and investment in improving businesses that currently exist; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes the EDA to be best equipped to business redevelopment in the city; and <br />WHEREAS, the EDA has established guidelines for a loan and grant program that seem reasonable to the <br />Anoka County HRA, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville that the City request <br />that the Anoka County HRA authorize and fund projects that the Centerville EDA determines will improve <br />properties in the city limits up to an amount not to exceed $20,000 per project and $50,000 in total funding in <br />accordance with the program guidelines. <br />Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 28th day of August, 2019. <br />q ay,or, ff l:w ,ar <br />City l fir , �C m m� Bender <br />
