CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />Verville <br />Agenda Item # <br />Department: <br />Requested Meeting Date: <br />VIll.l <br />Economic Development Authority <br />September 18, 2019 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Marketing Plan - City -Owned Properties <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />A large part of the EDA's mission is to help market the city and its excess property. To date, the two main <br />focuses (aside from Block 7) have been the two half -acre sites in the downtown (NW quad of Centerville Rd. <br />and Main St.; NE quad of Progress Rd. and Main St.). These sites have not been actively marketed and are not <br />listed with a Realtor. Attached is some email correspondence with our city planners regarding these two sites <br />as well as the possibility of marketing a portion of the city hall site that is unused. Also attached is a sample <br />of the type of sketch that would be produced.
