The location, dimensions, and surface of <br />a residential driveway should be clearly defined in a logical place or places in the Code. <br /> <br />2)Vehicles and equipment allowed to be parked or stored on residential lots. The number, <br />type and location of vehicles and equipment allowed to be parked or stored on <br />residential lots should be clearly defined in a logical place in the Code. <br /> <br />It should be noted at the outset that these issues can be complex and there are various opinions <br />and feelings about what is appropriate, especially regarding the number and type of vehicles <br />allowed. There is no one right answer and every community handles them somewhat differently. <br /> <br />One of the key issues, as seen in examples form other cities, is, should the City allow boats, <br />campers, motor homes, snowmobiles, etc. to be parked in the driveway in the front yard? Forest <br />which means they meet front yard setbacks, i.e., not in the front yard at all, only side or rear.
