City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 11, 2019 <br />Music in the Park and took pictures. This was unexpected and our hearts and prayers go out to his <br />wife, family and business family. <br />Mayor Paar stated that a long-time Centerville business owner, Paul Steffel is very ill. Ms. Lisa <br />Waldo, MidWestOne Bank, and Mr. Mike Giovinazzo, American Family Insurance, have organized a <br />benefit along with the Centerville Lions on his behalf. He stated that a spaghetti dinner and silent <br />auction will be held on September 28, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the St. Genevieve <br />Community Parish Center. Mayor Paar stated that Mr. Steffel has participated in City events for many <br />years. Prayers to the Steffel family. <br />Mayor Paar stated that the Centerville Lions’ Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for October 5 from 11:00 <br />a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the 7000 block on Centerville Road. He stated that additional information <br />regarding the event could be found on the Lions Facebook page. <br />Mayor Paar thanked the Centennial Fire Department for standing in the rain honoring all those who <br />were involved in 911. It was very moving. <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Koski to Adjourn the Council <br />Meeting of September 11, 2019 at 9:02 p.m. All in favor.
