City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />October 23,2019 <br />ABSENT:Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />STAFF:City Administrator Mark Statz <br />City Attorney Glaser <br />II.PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />III.APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Paarprovided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br />Mayor Paar added Mr. Jeff Reinert, Candidate for Anoka County Commissioner District 6 Under <br />Item IV., #1. <br />Motion by Council MemberLove, seconded by Council MemberKoskito Approve the <br />Agenda with the Above Stated Modifications.All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV.APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br />1.Mr. Jeff Reinert, Anoka County Commissioner, District 6 Candidate <br />Mr. Reinertintroduced himself to Council and stated that he resides in the City of Lino <br />Lakes and has lived there for 44 years. He provided Council will some family background, <br />work ethic and time in office. He stated that he felt that he could provide the County with <br />his expertise in financial savings regarding public safety and employee benefits. <br />Council Member Love questioned that Mr. Reinert had many ideas for areas that he thought <br />could be improvedupon, but the term is from January, 2020 to December, 2020, and how <br />quickly did he believe he could implement his ideas and complete an assessment of all <br />operations of the County. Mr. Reinert stated that he has been in business for 35 years and <br />believes that he would need to excite others to gain their involvement for changes also. <br />Mr. Reinert stated that if individuals desired additional information they could contact him <br />directly. He stated that he has received the support of several Council Members in <br />Centerville and thanked the Council for their time. <br />Mayor Paar thanked Mr. Reinhertfor his time. <br />Mayor Paar stated that thePrimary Election for the Anoka County Commissioner District <br />municipal seats on the ballot.
