City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />November 2, 2014 <br />After everyone who wished to do so was given an opportunity to speak in regard to <br />the plat, a motion was made by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner <br />Koski to close the public hearing. All present voted in favor. The motion was declared <br />passed. <br /> <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS – <br /> <br />1. Request for preliminary and final plat approval-Tower Addition, City of <br />Centerville, applicant <br /> <br />Administrator Larson presented a draft findings and approval. It was noted that the city <br />would collect a park dedication fee with the plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Koski, seconded by Commissioner Mosher to adopt findings for <br />approval and recommend to City Council to grant preliminary and final plat approval. All <br />present voted in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Request for preliminary and final plat approval-Center Villa Second Addition, <br />Willie and Sharon Lessard, applicants <br /> <br />Administrator Larson presented a draft findings and approval. It was noted that the city <br />would collect a park dedication fee with the plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Twohy, seconded by Commissioner Koski to adopt findings for <br />approval and recommend to City Council to grant preliminary and final plat approval. All <br />present voted in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Concept Plan- Watermark Subdivision of Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />Commissioner Koski gave a report on the Watermark Subdivision, having attended the <br />Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning meeting in October. He indicated that the Lino Lakes <br />Planning Commission is aware of the concerns expressed by this body with regard to the <br />rd <br />street connection at 73 Street. He was unsure what if anything, they would do about the <br />comments received from Centerville. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />th <br />1. Request for Conditional Use Permit – 7087 20 Avenue, Alex’s Landscaping. <br /> <br />The Commission received a request for conditional use permit from Alex Shuda, Alex’s <br />Landscaping. Mr Shuda was present to explain his plans to buy the City property at 7087 <br />th <br />20 Avenue for his landscape business. He explained his plans for paving and fencing.
